Once upon a time, when animals could talk and play with humans, there was a happy little town. All the town’s people cheerfully lived without any worries. One tragic day the Mother Spirit from the sacred stone suddenly showed up and warned them that the end of world is approaching. The forces of evil will darken the sun, and will kill all the lives on earth. However, she told them that there is one way that they could save the world. She said “the chosen one” would have to fetch a Boa flower from the Moa Mountain back to town. She appointed Hakunamatata as the chosen one, a brave young man who was soon to be engaged to Ning, the daughter of the tribe leader, to go to the Moa Mountain to save the world.

Behind the house near the sacred stone, Hakunamatata’s friend Evil was listening to the conversation. He envied Hakunamatata and Ning’s engagement, wanting Ning to become his fiancé. Before Hakunamatata started his journey, Evil put a trap in the path of the Moa Mountain to kill Hakunamatata. Evil dug out a hole that is deep enough to make the escape impossible, put needles that could kill Hakunamatata, and covered it with bushes on top to hide the hole. As Hakunamatata was walking, Hakunamatata fall into the hole of needles. At that moment, the sky was growling with anger and dropped massive rain. It rained harder and harder slowly filling up the hole. Hakunamatata swam out of the hole still bleeding a lot. He crawled on the ground and looked for a cave that he could rest in. He thought he could never get up and start the journey again.

After few days, he opened his heavy eyelids and ignored the pain and exhaustion that was devastating him. Even though he was threatened with his life, he did not stop his mission and only focused on getting the flower back to the town. He walked and walked despite he was injured and exhausted. After days and days of walking he finally reached the bottom of the rocky Moa Mountain. He had to climb up to get the Boa flower. He pulled out a rope from his bag that he was going to use to climb up the mountain, but it was torn. He climbed the mountain with his bare hands. The rough surface of the rocky mountain ripped his skins, but he was concentrated enough that the pain no longer bothered him. As he reached the top of the mountain he saw the glowing Boa Flower. He fetched the Boa flower and climbed down the mountain with his injured body. As he reached the bottom, he saw his friend, Evil. Evil welcomed him with a great hug, as Evil hugged him, Evil took out a knife ready to stab his friend. At that very moment, a rock fell from the mountain crushing Evil. However, the sun was darkening with the evil force; he hurried to the town with the flower.

Hakunamatata, not knowing what his friend has done, carried him to the town. The sun was completely covered up with the evil force; he thought he was too late to save the lives of the people. But as he hopelessly handed the flower to the Mother Spirit, surprisingly the sun regained its power. Everyone in the town was happy again, Hakunamatata married Ning and they lived happily ever after.
